THE PSION PAGES
I currently own a Series 3a psion with 2MB of  internal RAM to which I have added two 2MB Flash SSD's. While many may consider the series 3a/c/mx to have been superceded by the Series 5 range, for basic functions, the series three is still very capable.

The main features that drew me to the Psion palmtops are:

The Psion range is one of the few makes to use a keyboard rather than relying entirely (or at all for that matter in the case of the 3a) on a touch screen for information entry.

A typical operating life of around 30 hours on a pair of heavy duty AA size battery cells.

The database program (DATA) allows one to  configure contact files in the format the user wants.

The Psion Pages contain:

Some of my own simple programs and programming snippets which people are free to use and examine,

The Australian Version of Psi Mapper also known as Psi-Mapper/Oz.  As at 9 December 2000, a new download is available with the coastline, roads and towns for ALL states including Tasmania.  Unless someone identifies a bug, I will only be adding additional town maps from now on as a separate Zipfile.

Psi-Mapper/Oz for the Psion 5 is NOW available as of May 2002. An update was uploaded on 5 October which has added more towns for the states of WA, SA, Qld and NSW.
